No matter what stream they were in, all invited candidates must have an Expression of Interest score of at least 73 to be considered. To prove that their foreign education is comparable to Canadian standards, they also required Educational Credential Assessments. Additionally, they must have worked in one of 65 highly-skilled occupations on the government website.
About the Occupations in-Demand subcategory
Occupations In Demand sub-category (PNP) is a base Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). It is available to immigrants who don’t have Express Entry profiles.
This category is for highly skilled workers who have experience in a Saskatchewan-demand occupation and do not yet have a job in the province.
To apply for Canadian immigration under this sub-category, foreign citizens must create an EOI profile using the SINP’s online application process.
Saskatchewan’s EOI program allows it to choose immigrants who are likely to succeed in the prairie province. The province will assess candidates based on their work experience, education, language proficiency, age, and connections to Saskatchewan.
Based on the SINP’s International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid, they are given a score of 100. The invitations to the highest-scoring candidates for permanent residence in Canada are sent.
About the Express Entry subcategory
Express Entry is a sub-category of the enhanced PNP. It is linked to federal Express Entry.
Express Entry manages the pool for candidates to three major economic-class programs in Canada: Federal Skilled Worker Program and Federal Skilled Trades Program.
Express Entry profile candidates must also create EOI profiles in Saskatchewan to be eligible for an invitation to submit a nomination for a provincial office.
Express Entry candidates who are nominated by the Saskatchewan province for a provincial nomination are eligible to receive 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System score at federal level. They are thus guaranteed an invitation to apply Canadian permanent residence.
